One of the largest entry lists in the history of the state fair horse show is forecast by Florence Gardner, show manager, as advance entries pour in. Local interest in horses, both for pleasure and show, is on the upgrade. Many beautiful new horses are being shown this year from Lincoln. Lincoln will be well represented in all open saddle and harness classes as well as in local classes.

Entries are coming in fast from all over the country, as the show here is an open date this year,, and makes an ideal break in the circuit made by leading stables thruout the midwest. From Texas entries have been received from Jess Mc- Gill, Paris; Murray C. Sells, Longview, and Anna Lee Spires, Austin. Missouri will be well represented by the Sharon stables owned by George B. Laufer, St. Louis and J. H. Tapp, Maryville. Oklahoma entries have been received from Hugh Dempsey, Dewey and Carl Mossier, Stillwater.
